The Cougars First Strike Club is more than just another sponsorship.
Let's face it. Week after week, someone wants something from your business and it's generally money. Sponsor this team, that sport or this event. Give to this charity, that worthy cause or some good deed far away. And we do. Over and over again. But what's really in it for us. On a personal level. The First Strike Club is aimed squarely at having a good time in the company of like minded people in an atmosphere without pressure. It is about doing business in a relaxed way. It's about enjoying your sport. Getting involved. It's about playing a part in the community on a personal level, that's not a chore or a duty or an obligation. Above all it should be a lot fun, a satisfying experience and not cost the earth.
In an exciting year for football First Strike Club members will score some real goals.
The Socceroos again play for a chance in the 2010 World Cup.
From March to September the Cougars strike out on their second Hyundai Queensland State League course.
As one of the fifty First Strike Club members you can be there, either socially, virtually or in person, to witness the emotion of every cross, every save and every heartbreaking moment.
At every event you will have the opportunity to sit back and relax with a complimentary beverage or two and a decent feed. Do some business if you wish. Make some connections. Or just take it easy.
First Strike Club members will be encouraged to network and utilise member to member benefits at every event as well as outside activities.
The good thing is joining the First Strike Club doesn't cost a fortune.
The Cougars want to make this within reach of anyone with a few spare dollars. It is tax deductible; there are a number of accountants on the Cougars Board who can attest to it. And you don't have to cough up the whole fee in one hit. Payment options are available. Yearly fees are $1500; which you can pay up front or in two or three equal payments. Talk to Noel Sorrenson, he's got the all the information and options at hand.
